ZIP 00923 · PR · Coverage roadmap
This ZIP isn't fully covered by the federal health datasets ZipVitals draws on. ZipVitals publishes data from 8 federal sources; for this ZIP, 4 of those sources don't publish at the ZCTA level. We show the 4 available sources below as supplemental data, with the gap explicitly disclosed.
What's missing for this ZIP, and why
ZipVitals draws on 8 federal health datasets. For this ZIP, 4 of those sources don't publish data we can attribute to it — not a gap in our pipeline, but upstream coverage limits we can't responsibly paper over.
- CDC PLACES (chronic-disease prevalence). Built from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), which excludes US territories. No ZCTA-level prevalence data exists for this ZIP.
- USALEEP (life expectancy). CDC NCHS publishes the small-area life-expectancy file only for the 50 states + DC. Territories are not included.
- EPA SDWIS (drinking water). EPA SDWIS service-area boundaries exclude US territories at V1.
- CDC/ATSDR SVI (social vulnerability). ATSDR publishes the ZCTA edition only for the 50 states + DC. Territories are not included.
Because four anchor sources are missing, ZipVitals does not publish a composite healthiness score, percentile rank, or AI narrative for this ZIP — a partial score would misrepresent itself as the full picture. The supplemental data below is real and useful, but is not a substitute for the full editorial coverage.
Because no Score is computed, this ZIP doesn't appear in the state, metro, or national rankings.

When V2 expands
As US federal health-data publishers add territorial coverage (and as we add new V1 sources like CDC EPHT for heat and air-quality), ZipVitals will reclassify affected ZIPs to full coverage automatically. The page you're reading is dynamic — it will fold into the standard ZipVitals per-ZIP page the next time recompute runs after the missing sources land.
Methodology
ZipVitals's editorial discipline forbids publishing a composite ZipVitals Score or AI narrative against partial source coverage — a partial score can't honestly make the headline claim "this is the healthiness of this ZIP" (see ADR-0031 §F). The supplemental data on this page is real and per-ZIP-anchored; it simply isn't the full picture.
